微卫星是中立的还是由选择控制的

 写了篇文章，审稿人提了个问题：This part also raises the question on the evolution of microsatellites - is it neutral like other molecular markers or is it governed by selection (see line 22 of page 2). If microsatellites evolve neutrally how can they have a fitness advantage?不知道如何回答，求高人指点，跪求~~~ |
