请大家帮忙看看！帮忙修改！谢谢！ 准备申请美国的博士后。 前不久把申请材料寄了过去，可教授没收到，其回复如下; Dear Dr xx, No, I have not received your documents. Did you send by Fedex or any of the courier companies? Which address did you send to? Did you write my name clearly? xxx 我打算回复如下，请大家帮我看看，作些修改，我的英语不好！谢谢！ （我是07年12月28号，寄的平信，08年1月4号把材料重新寄了一份，并补充了一些新的资料，可教授到现在始终没有收到，刚才去邮局查了下，说是已到美国，到并没有寄到教授手中，我想让教授在那边进行一下查询，是否合适？） Dear Prof. xx: I am so sorry. I am sure the address and the name is correct. I think the delay on delivery may be caused by the posts. I sent the documents by general post on 28, Dec, 2007 first. I sent the documents again by EMS (EAXXXXXXXXCN ) on 4, Jan, 2008, which I added some new. I went to the post office for an inquiry just now and the post office indicated that the item have been to America but have not sent to you. I wonder if you can make an inquiry.Thank you very much! Dear Prof. xx: I am so sorry that I can't ascertain the correctness of the address and the name. May be the delay of the delivery is caused by the posts. The documents was firstly sent out by general post on 28, Dec, 2007, then sent out by EMS with the bill number of (EAXXXXXXXXCN ) on 4, Jan, 2008. The post office has replied my an inquiry just now and they indicated that the carrier has arrived America, but it has not been sent to you. Your inqry on that carrier would be very appreciated.
