Writing Activity 3, December 15th to December 18th (One article available)

Guys I know English writing has become more and more an issue. Having seen this, I want to run a series of writing activities for the following month.  Feel free to participate.  Just keep in mind. No matter how much you read, how much you listen, if you never ever actually write something, there is no way for you to write a good article in examination condition. If you do not want to write anything but have the proofreading ability, you are also more than welcomed to pick up others' mistakes  All the writing activities will be put in a folder I made. If I've got enough time, I can do some proofreading for you but it's not guaranteed. I will highlight the articles I think highly of. there are both effects in positive and negative in any technological progress . in modern sociaty,people would not servival if there is not modern technology,on the other hand,advanced technology bring or cause us some problem,for example, computer and internet really bring us lots of benefits. not computer and internet, no every day life.but they bring much more problem to the moderm sociaty. like health problem,internet crimation,and so on. Over the past century, there has been rapid progress in different aspects of lives, but opinions are divided as to whether this trend will continue. It is worth discussing what we have achieved and what we can do to make the world a better place to live. We have made huge strides in many industries and reaped benefits of these developments. One example is that with medical advances, patients' suffering can be alleviated efficiently today, even if they suffer from some diseases which were incurable a century ago. As a result, human lifespan has been extended greatly and quality of life has been improved. Another significant change is the advent of information technology, by which people have easy access to information and can broaden their knowledge. This paves the way for disseminating information, which is essential to technical innovation across the globe. This technological development is particularly important for those who live in remote areas and could not gather information easily due to geographic isolation. Despite the achievement we have made in medicine and internet, what worries us is that the environment is deteriorating. Many of the habitats have been destroyed by pollution and wildlife is endangered. The government should enforce laws to restrict behaviour that may cause environmental problems, making more people use resources sustainably. Another problem is that the uneven distribution of social resources and the widening digital divide have worsened income disparity. This has caused some people's resentment against society and led to social instability, which can hinder social progress. To summarise, I think that we should pay attention to environmental problems and the rich-poor gap, while we are proud of what we have achieved in the medical field and information technology. |

as you say, there are a series of social issues nowadays in our country, such as rich-poor gap, soil pulltion and the trust of goverment is reducing.because recently many local goverment over rely on the GDP devolopment to achieve their goals, which result in a lots issues now. i hope our social will get better and people will get richer. |
