如题，请教各位，文章被非ACS杂志拒后准备转投ACS Catalysis，看到该杂志的coverletter要求：
If some version of the manuscript was previously submitted to a non-ACS journal, this submission must be noted in the cover letter, although further details regarding the review process are not required unless the authors choose to include them.
请问有必要在coverletter中写上被拒的经历吗？如果写上是否可能有不好的影响呢？
