The above bond cleavages occur at a temperature where healing of the fragmented bonds and normalization of the coordination state are thermodynamically prohibited. Charge unbalances created at these sites must be rectified by localization of electrons and electron holes. The residual-fragmented bonds are apparently the precursors for various centers. These defect centers include an electron being localized in a 2p orbital of the single-bonded carbon and the single-bonded oxygen. This would give rise to photoluminescence through a strong electron–photon coupling. 万分感谢 |
