This position will focus on the atomic-scale characterization of the degradation mechanisms of inorganic NPs in a model biological environment and into cell cultures (figure). These in situ studies will allow understanding the influence of the NP structure (size, shape, composition, atomic arrangement, surface coating, spatial organization??) on their transformation mechanisms and kinetics. For this project, we are looking for a highly-motivated post-doc with an expertise in nanomaterial sciences and electron microscopy and a deep interest in developing advanced experimental methodologies. 20
