Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position in Li-air battery A postdoc position is available at the Surface and Interface Lab (Dr. CHEN WEI’s group), National University of Singapore. The project goal is to develop interface engineered air cathode for efficient Li-air battery. The selected candidate will work together with a team comprising experts in materials chemists, device fabrication, and mechanism study using home-made interface characterization tools like XPS/UPS/NEXAFS etc. Requirement: The candidate shall recently obtain PhD in Chemistry or Materials with substantial experience in rechargeable Li-ion batteries (preferable Li-air batteries) – more specifically, extensive experience in battery design and assembly, electrolyte, glovebox operation, and electrochemical characterization system. Recruitment package: 1 year initial contract with possible extension for 1-2 more years subject to the performance; Salary: from 4,000 S$/month onwards subject to the candidate experience + medial insurance + performance bonus Position is immediately available Application Deadline: opens until position filled.
