Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position in Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (AP-XPS)

A postdoc position is available at the Surface and Interface Lab (Dr. CHEN WEI’s group), National University of Singapore. The project goal is to develop an Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (AP-XPS) for surface catalysis.
The selected candidate will work together with a team comprising experts in catalyst development, reaction evaluation, and mechanism study using home-made interface characterization tools.

Requirement:
The candidate shall recently obtain PhD in Chemistry or Physics with substantial experience in ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) technology, photoelectron spectroscopy and surface catalysis; preferably experience in Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (AP-XPS).

Recruitment package:
2 years initial contract;
Salary: > 50,000 S$-70,000 S$/year subject to the candidate experience + medial insurance + performance bonus
Position is immediately available from Sep 2013 onwards
