Haldane had originally dev eloped the notion aft er visiting Christian Bohr (1855–1911) in Copenhagen who was a great champion of oxygen secretion. However , the error was exposed in the view of most physiologists by A ugust Kr ogh (1874–1949) and his wife Marie (1874–1943) in a series of papers publ ished in 1910. |
