投稿Materials Letters 技术审查意见

投稿技术审查未通过，回复如下： We regret to inform you that your manuscript has failed in the initial formal technical criteria assessment. (1) USE OF ENGLISH In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's required standard. Authors have the responsibility to present papers in good English which can be understood by the journal's readership. If reviewers cannot understand your work as easily as possible, the acceptance possibility of your article will be lowered greatly. We will NOT consider a revised version of your manuscript, unless it has received a complete re-writing to improve the level of English. (2) STRUCTURE AND COMPLETENESS Your manuscript is NOT in accordance with every aspect listed within the author guidelines. Your manuscript should include, but not be limited to, the comments mentioned below. 1) In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's desired standard. There are a number of grammatical errors and instances of badly worded/constructed sentences. Please check the manuscript and refine the language carefully. 2) A minimum of 2 keywords should be provided from the list of keywords recommended by Materials Letters. This list is found at the end of the Guide for Authors for this Journal. 3) Materials Letters is strictly a Letters journal, so the submitted manuscript in double line spacing should not exceed 8 pages (including title, abstract, references, figures, tables and figure captions). 4) Pages should be numbered consecutively. 很无语，自己写的也还蛮认真的，老师看过几遍说可以了，之前来组里交换的一个美国学生也帮忙润色文字了（是共同作者，对文章工作也很了解）。结果来一个英语写作水平不够...主要问题也就是这个了。 其他的问题：（2）几个关键词我用了两个list 里面的不知道他为啥说我没用。 （3）看他们发表的文章里面，很多都没按格式来。我也尽量调整格式了，字数调整到1900,4张图，除了前面的作者信息和后面的参考文献用的1.5倍行距外，其他都用的2倍行距，保持在8页以内... （4）编号忘了倒是真的... 审查意见说要完全重写，这样还有必要投么，各位有什么意见.... |

我前几天也投了一篇ML，技术审查二次没过的时候悲剧了。。。然后编辑说让改了重投，现在已经第四次改了 其实关于语法的问题，我觉得这个杂志差不多都会这么说，我看你的语句用的跟我的差不多 另外，ML的格式问题一年变好几次，所以投稿之前一定要好好看投稿须知，不能光凭之前师兄们投稿的经验了，最好的办法，找最近发表的文章对照的来 ML对参考文献的格式要求蛮高的，而这个格式已经变了N遍了。。。 关于行间距的问题，参考文献也要双倍的，之后保持八页范围内啊。。。。 关键词要使用作者须知里面（keyword）的关键词，他们编辑也很多套话的，没什么问题的话就不要理 你这个还让你加编号呢，我是加了编号投的稿，之后编辑给我回信说要把编号删掉。。。唉，没办法，很无语，编辑也不完全按照他们的主页要求来的，感觉每个编辑都有自己的一套 |
