Abstract: The carbon footprint of municipal infrastructure is analyzed, and the resource of carbon emissions is studied. Through the comprehensive analysis in the two aspects of the system structure and the construction phase, it shows that the total quantity of carbon emissions in the construction phase of municipal infrastructure is a two-dimensional function. The carbon emission structure of eleven subsystem life-circle in municipal infrastructure is clear. And the calculation characteristic of carbon emissions in the construction phase is explained. Through making some necessary hypotheses about carbon emissions, the calculation procedures of carbon emissions in the construction phase are established. And the established procedures lay the foundation for getting the calculation method of design and writing the practical software in the future.
