The dynamic mechanical analysis shows the IPN has higher damping value when PEA serves as the second composition, but its damping functional area is narrower; the IPN has broader damping functional region when the second composition is PBMA, its damping temperature zone with damping factor tan δmax greater than or equal 0.3 spans across from -45°C to 57°C. The microstructures of IPN are characterized by 13C-NMR, FTIR and TEM. These results show that the IPN forms a dual phase continuity interlocked structure.
