Dear Colleague,

This is a friendly reminder that IEEE Robio 2013 paper submission deadline August 31 2013 is only one week away for IEEE Robio 2013. Please make your effort to submit the paper in time to attend this great event.

The 2013 International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO 2013) https://2013.robio.org/ will be held from December 12 to 14 at the Shangri-La Hotel in the vibrant, beautiful, and young city of Shenzhen, China.

The theme of Robio 2013 is Robots living with human being in modern society, reflecting the ever growing interests in research, development and applications in the dynamic and exciting areas of robotics and biomimetics. Shenzhen, located in the Pearl River Delta and neibouring Hong Kong, is the fastest growing city in the world and famed as the world manufacturing factory, populated by visitors from all over the world and featuring attractive tourist spots, world class conference and hotel facilities, and beautiful beaches and golf courses. Robio 2013 promises to be a great event for all participants, with excellent technical and social programs.

Contributed Papers: Full papers must be submitted in PDF format prepared strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for the IEEE Xplore. For detailed format information, please visit the conference website. All accepted papers will be indexed by EI and included in IEEE Xplore.

Proposals for special sessions are welcome. The conference invites high quality original research papers in the broad areas related to robotics, biomimetics and their applications. Topics include, but not limited to, the followings:

Tour Packages: Tourist packages to local and nearby attractions will be available.
