[交流] [Sharing] Getting rid of stress

COOL HUNTER:
Stress is bad for your health. I know,'cos I used to get stressed a lot. I couldn't sleep, didn't eat regularly, my immune system would suffer and I'd become ill. I'd also get these aches and pains in certain parts of my body, especially my neck and my back. My doctor told me these pains were psychosomatic.

In other words, the problem wasn't in my body, it was in my mind. He said if I didn't let my stress out, it would just build up and up and up and because the stress wasn't released, it was attacking the weakest parts of my body - my neck and my back - and this caused terrible pain. So, how do you get rid of stress, and avoid psychosomatic pain? Firstly, talking about it helps a lot. Talk to your partner or a good friend, or join a support group so you can share your problems with others.

Believe me, a problem shared is a problem halved. If you're worried about work, take a break! Everyone needs to recharge their batteries now and again, and your mind and your emotions are just as important as your body. Get away from it all for a few days! And one more thing, be nice to yourself.

Retail therapy is an underrated cure; go on, buy those new shoes you've been wanting for months. Do nice things, like going out to the movies and eating good food. And remember, one of the biggest stress in your life is yourself.
