美国J1签证已拿到但还没出发，想在走之前替母上大人办完B2签证可行么？

如题，我已经拿到了赴美的J1签证，女儿的J2签证也一并拿到。预计要到八月底或九月初出发。 为了替母上大人减轻点负担和心理压力（她一直担心自己不会英语出不去，签证手续繁琐不想去等等等等），我想在自己走之前就帮她把她的B2探亲签证办下来，因为我们计划希望她能够在美国住上9-10个月，然后和我们一起回国。 但是现在有一点疑问：我看了好多经验帖子，都说B2探亲签证一般是需要在美的亲属给申请人发一份邀请函才行。 可是我现在人在国内还没走，我能给母上大人发邀请函吗？ 如果发邀请函，可以写我申请签证时填写的学校和导师的地址等联系信息吗？ 如果不能发邀请函，是不是意味着她只能在我走之后才能办签证啦？还有其他办法可以让她在我走之前办完签证吗？（报名旅行团肯定是不可行的，这个我已经想过了） 急求大虾们支招解答，谢谢！！！ |

I am a visiting scholar (visa catalog: J1) in Department of political science, Marquette University. I wish to invite my father 姓名 to visit me in the U.S. in Octorber. I am writing this letter to support his application for B-2 visa and to clarify some of the concerns that you might have. The main aim of my father to come to the U.S.is to help me takeing care of my daughter.For I ‘m a full time research scholar here.My dauther is only four years old and still in the kindgarden,she will go back from school at 3 pm everyday when I ‘m still at my work.And sometime I have to do my research till night.So I really need a helper who can take care of my daughter after her school.And I plan to take my father to travel around during my vacation .For my father like traveling and taking pictures. I think it is a great chance for him to get a taste of American life since I am here. My father has stable savings and incomes.My parents have house property in china. I also have income and savings in the U.S.So we have no problem to cover my father’s expenditure in the U.S(My father have taken the relavant statements with him for your checking of our financial conditions). My sister and brother in law will stay in the States for four weeks to no more than two months. They like traveling and shopping. My sister ever went to Hong Kong for shopping. But they do not have a chance to visit the States before. So, I think it is a great chance for them to get a taste of American life since I am here and ready to help. We plan to visit New York and Washington DC. We might also go a bit farther and travel to Los Angeles and San Francisco in California. Sincerely yours, 姓名 -------------------- 大家可以结合自己的情况适当修改。有人认为信中不能说老人是去看孩子的，只说是去旅游；但也有人说说说也无妨；我自己是如实说明了情况（孩子放学后有可能无人看管，所以老人可以帮忙照看；但同时也说明会在假期带老人四处旅游，走一走，看一看）。 2、我给妈妈申请B2签证准备的材料—— 文件夹1(需要上交的) 1. 护照 2. 中信银行的收据 3. DS-160表格确认页 4. 一张照片：于6个月内拍摄的2英寸x2英寸（51毫米x51毫米）正方形白色背景的彩色正面照。请用透明胶带将您的照片贴在护照封面上。 5. 给签证官的信(可能是在面谈是给签证官) 文件夹2(父母的资料) 6. 户口本 7. 身份证 8. 退休证 9. 房产证 10. 银行存款存折(最好上面有正常的存取记录) 11. 工资单(最近几个月的,可能是到单位开?工资存折应该也行.证明每个月有工资) 12. 合影的照片(带几张和姑娘\儿子\外孙女\孙女的合影) 文件夹3(关于j1和孩子资料) 13. J1我的护照复印件 14. 签证 复印件 15. DS2019表复印件 16. 资助证明 17. 我的简历 18. 孩子的签证 19. 租房协议及收据(如果有的话） 我按照上面的清单准备了妈妈的签证材料，并且将给签证官的信打印出来，叮嘱妈妈在见到签证官时一定要将信拿出来给签证官看。但签证的时候，签证官什么也没看，无论是信还是材料，签证官都没有看！签证官只问了我妈妈一个问题：“你去美国做什么？”我妈妈回答：“去探亲。我女儿在美国做访学。”——OK，就问了这么一句，啥也没看，直接将我妈妈的护照收走——我妈妈6月28日面签，7月5号领到获批的护照！ 希望以上材料和信息能帮助到大家。谢谢！ |

我和你的情况一致------我和老公、孩子四月份办下签证。订好了七月中旬赴美的机票。也想在走之前帮母亲办好B2签证. 六月廿八日我和母亲一起去美国大使馆面签，我在外面等。母亲一个人进去的，大约一个半小时出来。 七月一日网站查询，母亲的B2签证issued。 所以，我以我的经历来打消你的疑虑：你赴美前可以为你的母上申请签证的。 又补充一句：我没写邀请函，只给签证官写了一封信。但签证官没看！ [ 发自手机版 http://muchong.com/3g ] |
