[交流] PhD opportunity at Univ.of Pittsburgh (Environmental engineering/Biotechnology)

Openings:
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Pittsburgh (http://www.engineering.pitt.edu/civil/) is seeking one or two PhD student(s) to work under the guidance of Dr. Na Wei. Prospective students with a M.S or B.S degree (or expected by the time of admission) in Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The lab research areas include (1) value-added biotransformation using metabolic engineering approaches for the production of renewable fuels and resource recovery from waste and (2) biodegradation and transformation of emerging environmental contaminants and the biological/ecological impacts.

The starting time can be Spring 2014 or Fall 2014. The selected candidate will receive graduate assistantship, full tuition, and benefits. Interested applicants with enthusiasm and motivation for environmental engineering/biotechnology may send their curriculum vitae (including GRE and TOEFL scores as applicable) to Dr. Wei at nawei@pitt.edu

Thank you for your timely reply.
I've already sent you my CV, and hope you could have a look at it.
Since my GRE AW section is only 3.5, while "The 'competitive' score range for the GRE quantitative section is 650-800 and 4.5-5.5 for the analytical section.", I wonder whether my application to this PhD program is qualified or not. Looking forward to your suggestions.
