PhD student positions with full financial support are available in Prof. Chou's group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Unversity of Alabama. Could accept as early as 2014 Spring, also fine with 2014 Fall. Rearch focus: finite element analysis (FEA), thermal-mechanical analysis Background: mechanical engineering, materials or metallurgical enginerring The candidates with welding research experience will be favored. http://www.me.ua.edu/PMRF/index.htm The web site is not updated yet.
