【招生】Ph.D positions in CS/ECE at Oakland University (U.S.)

Two Ph.D. student positions in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Oakland University will be available starting Fall/Winter Semester of 2013. Successful applicants will join Prof. Yang’s research group and carry out research in the area of wireless network security, mobile and pervasive computing, wireless localization systems, smartphone applications and security. More information on Prof. Yang’s research can be found at http://www.secs.oakland.edu/~yang/ An ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated in pursuing a research-oriented career. Previous research experience on wireless security, wireless localization, or mobile computing is a big plus, although not required. Oakland University is a public research university located 25 miles north of Detroit, which offers both small town characteristics and a wide diversity of culture, sports, and entertainment activities.
