Using NH4VO3 and Fe(NO3)3.9H2O as starting materials, the FeVO4 photocatalyst was prepared by liquid precipitation method, with the molar ratio of V and Fe being 1. The PH of the reaction system was first adjusted to 8 by the dilute ammonia, leading to the formation of yellow precipitate. Then it was dried and calcined at 800¡æ in the muffle furnace for 4h, which makes the FeVO4 photocatalyst.

NH4VO3 and Fe(NO3)3.9H2O were used as raw materials. The Liquid phase precipitation was applied in the experiments. V/Fe mole ratio is 1:1. PH value of reaction system was tuned to be 8 by diluted amonia solution. The yellow precipitates wer obstained and dried afterward. FeVO4 photocatalyst was prepared by further calcining the yellow precipitates in muffle furnace at 800oC for 4h.
