Yanzhou ‘s first wetland survey was conducted in 2002, in order to find out the growth /decline and changes of Yanzhou wetlands over the past decade, Shandong Province Forestry Department had conducted a survey for wetland resources from March 2012 to December 2012 in this province as per the unified arrangements of the State Forestry Administration. To complete the Provincial Forestry Department issued wetland resources investigation task, Yanzhou Forestry Bureau has hired Life Science and Engineering Department of Jining College to provide technical support, and the Joint Investigation Team had carried out a detailed investigation from July to August 2012 on Yanzhou wetland spots on Yanzhou spots, types, areas, vegetation areas, the belonging three level drainage areas to perform the comprehensive/objective analysis and evaluation on the Yanzhou wetland resources, and to provide unified complete, timely and accurate basic information and decision making basis for the protection , management and rational utilization of wetland resources . |
