【转贴】新型牛奶能抗胃溃疡【已搜无重复】

胃溃疡是都市常见病之一，也是较难缠的疾病,易反复发作， 给人们的生活造成很多困扰。为此，美国一家公司计划开发一种 新型牛奶，通过为奶牛注射抗原，生产一种能够抗胃溃疡的牛奶。 美国西南奶制品集团“挑战牛奶”宣称，他们已经开发出一 种技术，可以让奶牛对胃溃疡引起的细菌产生免疫反应，而通过 饮用这种奶牛产下的牛奶，这种抗体成分也可以传递到人体上。 “挑战牛奶”首席执行官彼得·盖迪说，他们将在未来几个 星期内，为少数奶牛注射溃疡抗原。他说：“我们希望在一个月 左右内，得到一些粉末状样本”。彼得等人相信，至2007年年末， 他们的实验就能够取得成功，并开始接受订单。 随着科学的进步，有专家预测，未来的人类可能只需直接饮 用动物生产的乳汁，就可达到治疗、保健的效果。其所拥有的周 期短、产量高、能传代等优点，绝对是传统生物医药产业不可比 拟的。 |

Challenge Milk will begin injecting a small herd of cows with antigens in the next few weeks. Chief executive Peter Giddy says they expect a lot of interest from the Japanese market if it proves successful. "We are licensed to produce for the Japanese market now so this product quite easily fits into what we currently do," he said. "We hope to have some powder samples in the month or so and we would like to think we'll be able to have an order placed before the end of this calender year." |
