请教是否在回复时出现了歧义，造成教授的不快？

诚恳向网友请教！ 本人今年初网上套磁联系上一位美国大学教授（华裔）访学，他对我以前的研究比较感兴趣，同意接收。后来又多次往返邮件，办理资助证明，学位公证等相关事宜，一切都很顺利。但后来（3月初）在一次邮件中他提到不在某学院（只是兼职）而是在另外一个学院（因为我前面多邮寄原件都寄往前面一个学院 ），因此他认为他开出的邀请信只能以另一个学院来开。 事实上，这件事情对我影响不大，但问题就出现在我回复他的信以后，再与他联系就没有回音了。请各位网友帮我分析一下原因，再此谢谢！ 我当时给他的回复是： Dear Prof.xx I am glad to receive your message and no problem on your arrangements for my visit. Thank you for your time! Yours sincerely, xxxx 2013-03-15 我的原意主要是想客气一下，表达对他所做的安排（我的访学）没有什么意见。现在想想这句话是不是给他产生其他什么误解？麻烦高人指点，感激不尽。 |

补充一下，他前面的回信是： xxx, Your letter was sent to the department of xxx-1, but actually my office is in the department of xxx-2 (my appointment in the xxx-2 department is a "dry" appointment without office or salary, just the honor and the right for supervising the PhD students with the xxx-2 major). Since there will be no office space for you in xxx-2, I have to arrange your visit through the xxx-1 department. I hope there will be ok to you. I am very busy this week. I will try to write you the letter over the weekend. |
