The weather is getting warmer and wamer. 天气越来越暖和。 4. Daffodils are a messenger of spring. 水仙是报春的使者。 5. As spring approaches, the trees begin to send forth tender buds. 春天来了，树上长出了嫩叶。 6. Now the first leaves of spring are unfolding. 春天的嫩叶正在萌发。 7. Crocuses bloom in the spring. 番红花在春天开放。 8. Roses scent the air in spring. 春天，玫瑰的香气在空气中沁人心脾。 9. In spring the ice-floes break up. 春天将浮冰融化。 10. Now I am trying to translate into English those Chinese idioms with the word ‘春’ in them: 春暖花开 It becomes warm in spring and the flowers begin to bloom. 春意盎然 It is full of spring everywhere. 春色满园 Spring has filled the garden. 春风得意 Looking proud as if basking in spring wind. 春风满面 With happiness shown across one’s face. 春色撩人 The beauty of spring is touching everyone. 春满人间 Spring has come to everyone of us. 春华秋实 The beauty of spring, the products of autumn. 春意阑珊 Spring is on its way gone ( or off ). 春梦无痕 Spring dreams are gone without trace. 春兰秋菊 The orchid of the spring and the chrysanthemum of the autumn. 春晖寸草 Every inch of the grass is lit by spring. 春回大地 The land has spring coming back. 或spring is back over the land. |
