A: Gen. 2009, 358 (2), 173-179.¡££¨Under stirring, 0.2 mol of aluminium chloride hexahydrate (AlCl36H2O) was dissolved in distilled water, and 0.7 mol of NH4OH as precipitation agent was added. After the white aluminium hydroxide precipitate that formed was held for 0.5 h, it was filtered and washed with distilled water until no NH3H2Oor NH4Cl was detected. Then, the precipitate was added to 250 ml of ethanol in a three-neck flask with stirring at high speed for 0.5 h. Subsequently, 10 mg of Mn TPP dissolved in absolute ethanol was slowly added into the above suspension, and the mixture was heated to 50 8C with rapid stirring for 5 h. The shallow brown suspension was filtered and washed with bulk distilled water and the brown cake was dried at 0.09 MPa and 170 8C for 5 h. As a result, 15.1 g of the deep brown supported catalyst, Mn TPP/BM, was obtained.
