Arthur Horwich 耶鲁大学医学院(Yale University School of Medicine)（美国） 不用多讲，google一下就知道此人有多牛。 领域：how chaperone ring machines assist protein folding and unfolding in the cell Dr. Horwich is also Eugene Higgins Professor of Genetics and Pediatrics at Yale University School of Medicine. He received A.B. and M.D. degrees from Brown University, trained in pediatrics at Yale, and then pursued postdoctoral fellowship training first at the Salk Institute in the Tumor Virology Laboratory with Walter Eckhart and then at Yale in medical genetics with Leon Rosenberg. His research interests are directed to understanding how chaperone rings assist protein folding and unfolding in the cell. Dr. Horwich is a recipient of the 2006 Stein and Moore Award of the Protein Society, the 2004 Gairdner Foundation International Award for achievement in medical research, and the 2001 Hans Neurath Award. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. |
