摘要: Optical phase modulation obtained by modulating the current of an injection-locked semiconductor laser is analyzed. The maximum phase deviation permitted with regard to the limit of the locking bandwidth is evaluated as a function of the current modulation frequency for various optical injected powers. An experimental study is reported and the application of this technique to a coherent PSK or DPSK transmission system are discussed
