翻译：Shape, size and volume fraction of the second-phase particles (SPPs) are all influence of pinning effect on grain growth. Stick SPPs have stronger pinning effect than spherical SPPs and display greater advantages over spherical SPPs with the size increasing during grain growth.

要求：简明扼要，符合科研英语表述。谢谢。

有个小问题。最后一句话中，是否需要加个be
the larger the grain size is, the superior the stick SPPs are.

呵呵，感觉应该加上，但加上了也感觉怪怪的。

中文句子没看明白
The shape, size and volume fraction of the second-phase particles all have an effect on the pinning effect of grain growth. The stick-shaped SPPs have an stronger pinning effect on grain growth and display a greater advantage with the size increasing than that of the spherical SPPs.
