| Dll4 is constitutively expressed on the thymic epithelial cells (TEC) as well as on endothelial cells. Specific deletion of Dll4 in thymic epithelial cells throughout development results in a complete block of T-cell development, associated with thymic acellularity and ectopic appearance of immature B cells. |
