[交流] How to improve writing in English?

thanks the EC, i joined this part several days , its really a good platform to improve my English and share some fantastic thoughts with chongyou. because of my poor English , sometimes ,when i want to respond to the post,but its terrible that i dont know how to express which makes me crazy!also i am happyness when i reading perfect passage and personal thought. can you share your means of improving English writing!thank you for your sharing!

I think, the following may work,
i) try to memorize more words, so it will become possible for you to write,
ii) read more, and try to learn from these materials,
iii) try to use the words you remembered, to remember does not mean you can use these words, and
iv) read a passage, then close the book, try to write a passage with the same meaning, after you finish, open the book again, find the difference between the original writing and yours, this way, you will find how an experienced person write, what words and sentences they use, then write the passage again, by doing this, you will improve your writing ability.

To my point of view, the best way to practice English writing is imitation. Firstly, you have to go through a few materials, such as books, magzines and newspapes. When you find some well-constructed or interesting expressions, you'd better write them down and try to memorize them. Then, when it is the time for you to write something, you can use those useful expressions as much as you can. Gradually, you will feel you have more ways to show your own ideas, which means your English writing skills has been improved.

Writing sentances in English without making mistakes can not be avoided if you are a non-native speaker. Don't let this issue bother you too much.  What you need to do is to make your sentances clear enough to make people understand you. If you immerse youself in dodging grammar errors how could you talk, how could you communicate?
Just a little bit experience in learning English. Hope that help. Do you believe a person who has been studying and working in USA for 10 years is still obsessed by writing problems.

The approach to enhancing your writing capacity is actually quiet simple: Do As Much Practice As You Can.
We should note that there is no shortcut to learn a language. So without abundant practice, any method or technique will be totally ineffective.
