Dendrimer PAMAM

Dendrimers (PAMAM) have a good and promising applications for the heavy metal-containing treatment. For example, Cr3+ in wastewater can be well absorbed with PAMAM dendrimer at alkali condition, so that effective treatment of heavy metal wastewater is realized, and PAMAM can be reused. Dendrimers (PAMAM) have good and promising applications in wastewater treatment, for example, dendrimers (PAMAM) have excellent performance in oil wastewater treatment, oil removal rate can reach 99.9%. It has been researched that the best treatment effect of oil wastewater with the PAMAM dendrimer can be realized at the condition of PH of 6, water temperature of 25 °C, and the PAMAM dosage of 15-20mg/L. What’s more, the higher generation of PAMAM is used, the better degreasing performance is observed. Dendrimers (PAMAM) have incomparably excellent performance in the printing and dyeing wastewater treatment, compared with common water treatment agent. Due to the wastewater with high COD, high chroma, complex organic compounds, and low level of microbial degradation, the treatment effect with the traditional agent is not obvious. The decolorization rate can be up to 96.4%, and the COD removal reaches 92.7%, under the condition of meta-acid, and the PAMAM dosage of 50mg/L. What’s more, the higher generation of PAMAM is used, the better degreasing performance is observed Dendrimers (PAMAM) have good and promising applications for the heavy metal-containing wastewater treatment. For example, Cu2+ in wastewater can be well absorbed through the terminal amino and tertiary amino of PAMAM dendrimer, so that effective treatment of heavy metal wastewater is realized. The absorption rate of Cu2+ can reach 100% when the pH of the wastewater is 9. PAMAM dendrimers are efficient decoloring flocculants, which have a number of advantages as flocculants for the waste water with highly concentrated and highly tinct dye: less addition, wide applied range of pH values, high decolorization rate, easy operation, the water can be secondary used after treatment, and so on. |
