English： 4.5g (0.025mol) Compound I and 0.025mol phenol is melt at about 65℃ to form homogeneous mixture. Under slowly stirring, 5g (0.037mol) anhydrous AlCl3 is charged into the above mixture by several small portions. After addition of AlCl3, the reaction mixture is reacted for another 10 hours at 65℃. After reaction the mixture is quenched with 50g ice. The mixture is filtered (water insoluable part is isolated). The filter cake is slurryed into Petroleum ether, phenol is retrieved. The purification is recrystallized in benzene (compare Tab.4) |
