改论文成short communication重投，投后以不符合要求被拒，还可以再次缩写后重投吗？已有1人参与

去年投的论文，修改意见让改成short communication的形式重投（有同行专家评审意见），我缩短论文后重投，结果编辑过了20多天返回意见说没达到排版要求，直接拒稿，连审都没审文章。我参照原来该杂志已发表的short communication，有的页数也很多，可为什么就说我的超过了呢？我还可以继续修改后投过去吗？这次意见如下： thank you very much for your manuscript. Unfortunately your paper is not acceptable for publication in the present state. It does not match the requirements for a short communication (4 typewritten pages with 2000 characters including all illustrations!, see also Instructions for Authors). 请教大家4 typewritten pages with 2000 characters including all illustrations!是什么意思，难道一篇文章才2000 个字符，肯定不够嘛 |

谢谢！我刚查了期刊的要求 Regular Articles should not exceed 15 typewritten pages (equivalent to a total of 2,000 characters per one typewritten page). In addition, ≈6 figures may be included. Short communications are limited to 2 printed pages (≈4 typewritten pages) including all illustrations. The page limit of a Review Article should not exceed 10 printed pages. Authors who intend to prepare a Review Article are encouraged to contact the Editor prior to submission. 中间short communications的要求2 printed pages (≈4 typewritten pages)是什么意思呢？ |
