Postdoctoral position in medical imaging 已有1人参与

Source: Internet, University of Ottawa (RT)Sent on behalf Dr. Mark Schweitzer of the Ottawa Hospital. Postdoctoral position in medical imaging. This is a good opportunity for a self-motivated Ph.D. in bio-medicine or engineering interested in gaining experience in an inter-disciplinary field. The main project is focused on developing ex-vivo models of osteo-arthritis using animal tissues. Experience in histology and animal surgery would be an asset. The main experimental tool will be non-linear optical laser scanning microscopy. Work will be with instrumentation built in-house so experience with optical, software and electronic engineering would also be an asset. Training will be provided where necessary. Later stages of the project will involve working with a team of engineers and an prototype instrument capable of in-vivo operation.
