Dear

I will be glade to be a collaborator in the research project named “*************************************************” submitted by Dr. *.*. Wang.  The proposed project is to explore whether PTFE vascular graft can be coated with Rapamycin and used to prevent neointima formation on the graft after implantation.

The ideas in the proposal are novel and interesting.  The outcomes of the study should be useful in the development of cell based therapy for cardiovascular diseases.

My laboratory has been involved in bone marrow derived progenitor cells and angiogenesis for several years.  I will provide my experience, advice and laboratory resources to support the proposed project.  I will work with Dr Wang to give advice for the direction of the project, provide some necessary materials for the research, and coordinate collaboration among scientists.

I am confident that Dr. Wang and the excellent team he has assembled will be able to achieve the aims of this project. As a collaborator I will be happy to assist him and his endeavors in any way that I can.
