投了elsevier的一个期刊,要major revision, 这个是初审,下面是编辑的回复: Dear *****, > > Reviewers' comments on your work have now been received. You will see one referee is advising against publication of your study and the other referee recommends Major revision. The referee recommending rejection gives compelling reasons to do so. However, it appears that it might be possible to correct these major deficiencies with a significant amount of additional research. Therefore, if you can address most of these deficiencies over a period of time we would be pleased to reconsider your significantly improved scientific study as a new submission. However, if you choose to re-submit then you must provide a covering letter in which you clearly indicate how each of the deficiencies has been addressed or the reason why some were not addressed.
