This is a novel concept and as such should be considered for publication in Biosensors and Bioelectronics upon consideration of the following comments and corrections。
Reviewer #2:
The manuscript by XXXX. presents an homogeneous assay for sensitive protein detection based on on aptamer protection of exonuclease coupled to enzymatic cleavage amplification.. The manuscript is scientifically sound and experimental data are well presented however, from the paper it does not come to light a sufficient level of novelty for the proposed method.
Many homogeneous assays based on the use of aptamers have been published in the last years and I'm not sure that the scientific relevance of this additional one is enough to justify the publication on Biosensors and Bioelectronics.
