In order to receive a PhD degree, you need get an official promotor from the University. I cannot do this myself, as I am not a professor, but we can do this in collaboration with the university. A good option might be to do this at the University of Amsterdam, with professor XXX. I will discuss the options with him. So then it will be a combined project, doing work at our institute and work also together with people of the University. I suggest that we discuss further options and possibilities in a Skype call. Is that possible for you? We have 7 hour time difference, so if we call at Friday for me at 9:00 am, for you at 16:00 am, this might be possible. Does this suit you?
