Refractive index is an important optical property of organosilicon polymer.Optical property of organosilicon polymer ranges from 1.38 to 1.54 with the difference of variety and quantity of substituent. Therefore if molar refraction and mole volume of the radical are already known refractive index of organosilicone or polymer can be predicted or molecular designing of polymer can be carried out on the structure according to the request of refractive index of polymer.
