From the abstract it can see that metal ion content ,total phenolic, flavonoid and tannin contents from A and B are studied but the keyword does not reflect them and DPPH and antioxidant activities overlap .Leek, as a matter of fact£¬has been used as vegetable everywhere around the world and provides nutrition and antioxidantion. But the seeds are not used for its quantity. As a result the meaning of this paper is not marked. At the same time the choice of hexane and Petroleum ether with similar but weak polarity as extraction solvent and the choice of methanol and ethanol with high polarity make the content rich but overlap. As a result it has no obvious discrepancy and the method is defective. Nutrition and antioxidantion of leek are reported in some papers£¨Food Chemistry 134 (2012) 669¨C677 Antioxidant capacity, total phenolic and ascorbate content as a function of the genetic diversity of leek (Allium ampeloprasum var. porrum) £© so the difference of component and antioxidant activity of leek from Egypt and other places is compared in the discussion by comparing these papers.
