请大家帮忙看下我现在应该怎么办.......

我是明年6月毕业，一个月前面了比利时鲁汶的一个PhD。但这个vacancy是明年1月开始的。 今天教授发了拒信，但提出可能9月会有position。 Dear XXX, I’m contacting you regarding the PhD position in Leuven. I’m sorry to say that for the moment, I will not be able to hire you. There was another candidate, equally qualified as you but whose timing in terms of finishing her studies fitted better this vacancy. It was a very difficult decision for me as your background and expertise would be of great value for the research direction that I would like take. At the same time, I do hope that there will be another vacancy at the end of the academic year which would allow me to hire another PhD Student in September or October 2013. I certainly hope that you then would still be interested in joining our research group. I cannot however be sure – it depends on funding possibilities and these have become very difficult to predict. As soon as I know more though, I will let you know. I sincerely hope that we have a chance to work together in the near future. I feel rather confident that we will but as said before, there is no 100% guarantee. I hope we can stay in touch throughout the year and I will contact you as soon as I see a possibility. My best regards 看起来如果我提出CSC的事情的话她应该会乐意收下我。但一方面CSC钱少（呃，实话实说），另一方面感觉CSC还是多少受点歧视吧（在鲁汶是没有免费自行车啊什么的，到不是大事）。因为我先生在鲁汶读PhD，所以我应该暂时不考虑其他学校的position。 不知道这种情况下，我应该对这个position抱多大希望呢？外导一般提前多久能知道自己有没有funding呢？ 因为4月份就要申请CSC了....... 很纠结......求建议，拍醒我说没戏了也好....Sample Text |
