跪求指点：编辑让把research paper改为 short communication，但学校规定。。。

如题：现在ecological engineering 上投了一篇research paper，2审稿意见没什么大问题，但主编和 编辑comment如下： 主编：Reviewers and I have now commented on your paper. You will see that we are advising that you revise your manuscript. If you are prepared to undertake the work required, I would be pleased to reconsider my decision. For your guidance, reviewers' comments are appended below. If you decide to revise the work, please submit a list of changes or a rebuttal against each point which is being raised when you submit the revised manuscript. 编辑：Editor's comments: I am willing to consider your paper if you willing to resubmit it as a Short Communication. Short Communications are less than or equal to 10 manuscript pages, double-spaced, with no more than 4 Figures + Tables. 另外, 问了几个SCI人，他们说可以达到research，原文共有4个图，5个表，我认为都很重要，共计8500字。学校规定：毕业及科研奖励只算article和review，请问大家是不是我如果再按researchpaper修改完投过去，是不是肯定被拒了？ |

这样一般不会同意，还会引起接收问题。这种短文，也是正式文章，一般应该算。 Types of Paper The journal welcomes full papers, short communications, comments, letters to the Editor, and will publish review articles upon invitation. SHORT COMMUNICATIONS: Short Communications are brief communications of urgent matter or the reporting of preliminary findings. They should be no longer than 10 pages (A4 or US letter) not counting title page or references. They should contain no more than 4 figures + tables, e.g. 3 figures plus 1 table, or 2 figures plus 2 tables, and so on. There is no limit on the number of citations but if possible please limit to around 30 citations or fewer. Short communications are peer-reviewed papers as are the longer Research Papers but they have a greater likelihood of quicker reviews and quicker attention in publication. |

Short Communications are less than or equal to 10 manuscript pages, double-spaced, with no more than 4 Figures + Tables." 看样子~~我个人判断~~是不是你的论文太长了? 你没说你的论文几页~~但肯定超过 10 页很多~~ 楼?A讲的很对~ 不论是 research article, short communication 或是什么~~都一样~~没有什么差别~~ 只有文章长短而已~~ 若~你们学校应要那样规定~~我只能说~~"中国特色"~~你认栽了~~ 这时, 就没有什么合理不合理的~~ 貌似 editor 跟你妥协~~若你接授, 也许就 accept 了~~ |
