sorry I should have asked the question more clearly.
In my understanding, the professor you contacted with recommended you to the company. He must know someone in that company (his contact) for you to contact. Then the person from that company mentioned the person involved in will retire soon, which gives me the clue that the professor you have contacted with will retire.

是这样，我联系的教授把我推荐给公司。公司有两个创始人，其中的一个是我联系的，另一个即将退休，我表达的比较模糊哈
