Dear Lu,
Our measurements are done in transmission with no scan stepts. The
scattering entire 2-theta angular range is recorded at the same time (1
second to 30 seconds). If you use a lab source, you should work with light
elements otherwise absorption will reduce your irrediated volume too much.
For a lab source, I think one scan (0.025 degree steps), should take 8
hours but that depends a little on your machine. For sure, one-hour
acquisitions are usually not enough.

根据非晶的馒头包的峰值对应正弦值与非晶中原子平均距离成反比,利用xrd,测定非晶的馒头包可以计算非晶的过量自由体积,如果在不同的温度下测量,还可以测定非晶的热膨胀系数。
    但是非晶的这种变化很小,反应到角度上2theta的变化大约0.04度左右,这么小的变化在实验上可信吗?我们学校的xrd最小步进2theta是0.01度,
     我看到的实验报道都是用同步辐射做的,我的了解是同步辐射的x射线的强度很大,所以做一次实验的时间很短(一般10 几秒)。想请教比较了解同步辐射的同学,同步辐射的最小步进是否更小?除了测试一次的时间短之外,是否更精确?
