The following two references first resolved the build-up of Beta zeolite framework with three crystal structures: J. M. Newsam, M. M. J. Treacy, W. T. Koetsier and C. B. de Gruyter, Proc. R. Soc. Lond. A 420, 375 (1988). J.B. Higgins, R.B. LaPierre, J.L. Schlenker, A.C. Rohrman, J.D. Wood, G.T. Kerr, W.J. Rohrbaugh. The framework topology of zeolite beta. Zeolites, 1988, 8(6), 445-538. However, the IZC recognizes two of the three crystal structures in the Beta family, ie., the Beta polymorph A and B.
