[求助] 求助 HEMA及PEGDMA的生物相容性怎么样?

我用HEMA及PEGDMA进行交联 本来想制备水凝胶的 用的APS及BIS做引发剂及交联剂
结果37度加热24小时后 没成凝胶 保持澄清透明的浅黄色液体 pH值在4-5之间
想问问HEMA及PEGDMA这两种材料的生物相容性如何呢?不胜感激

What is the molecular weight of PEGDMA?

1st, cytocompatibility of PEG based hydrogel precursors depends on their Mw, irritance of functional groups, and degradation products. PEGDMA is more biocompatible than their PEGDA references because acrylates are more prone to Michale side reactions,  causing inflammation effects. But high Mw PEGDA(Mw, 10 K) also succeeded in some cell-encapsulation studies, possibly because of the protection effect of large PEG backbones. So higher Mw is always favorable.

2nd, PEGDMA is with much lower reactivity when compared to PEGDA references.  
(in your case, you should consider the oxygen inhibition during polymerization. Nitrogen protection is recommended. )

3rd, HEMA has been widely used for contact lenses, but few researchers use it for cell encapsulation. I think the lack of crosslinking density could be the reason.

HEMA为什么考虑主要是交联密度而不是单体残留量呢?

我用的PEGDMA分子量是750的
我是想把这个材料作为药物载体应用到体内 所以想知道这两个材料的生物相容性如何 能不能直接应用于体内

关于具体的应用,你只能查看相关文献了。
除了生物相容性,你得考虑水凝胶的机械强度能否满足最终应用。
