Your work and interests certainly align well with mine, and I'd be happy to consider taking you on subject to referees' reports. However, the big problem is finding a scholarship for you. I think (but am not certain) that scholarship applications for starting next year have closed already. However, I am cc-ing this email to David Yellowlees, who is the scholarship contact person in the **center of excellence here in the hope that he can follow this up (I am overseas until 22nd October). If scholarship applications are still open, then please send contact details for at least two academic referees. 不知道能不能赶上申请的截止日期，我看了那个奖学金项目，internetional student截止日期是8月31日，澳洲本地Domestic students申请截止日期是10月31日，这样的话会不会通融一下啊！我该怎么回复该教授？ 另外，这句话啥意思：I'd be happy to consider taking you on subject to referees' reports |
