There are currently new vacancies at the faculties of Architecture, TPM and Applied Sciences, at the OTB Research Institute for the Built Environment and at the ICT Shared Service Centre.

For the ‘BK City STAY’ project of the faculty of Architecture, the department of FMRE is looking for a facility project leader for removals for 38 hours a week (salary scale 9). The position concerns renovation work, such as overdue maintenance work, the insulation of the building’s exterior walls, increasing the durability of the structural design and improving the climate systems. You will be responsible for drawing up inventories for and preparing large-scale and complex moves. Other tasks include facility matters during building work. This primarily concerns renovation work carried out while the primary activities continue to be performed in the building.

The department of E&SA of the faculty of TPM is looking for a quality coordinator for 32 hours a week (salary scale 9). You will ensure that the faculty's internal educational quality cycle is of a high quality and carried out effectively with the students and lecturers involved. You will support the two teaching advisers in this by carrying out educational surveys and drawing up management reports, including annual reports, as well as ensuring their administrative processing and publication. You will also be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and for maintaining the Quality Manual, as well as participating in various committees and working groups and maintaining the course and examination regulations. You will also prepare the annual consultative review of these regulations.

The Project Management department of the ICT Shared Service Centre has a vacancy for a mid-level project manager for 38 hours a week (salary scale 12). You will successfully manage ICT projects and/or sub-projects within the scope of application development for our clients at TU Delft. To this end, you will set up these projects and steer them as a ship's captain to achieve the set objectives within the constraints of quality, scope, time and budget. You have a proactive attitude and act in a transparent manner.

The Demand Management department of the ICT Shared Service Centre is looking for a functional applications manager for 38 hours a week (salary scale 11). You will ensure the availability, correct operation and integrity of prevalent ICT applications, such as Baan, PeopleSoft, CMS, Infrahelp and Business Objects. In addition to this, you will provide advice, both solicited and unsolicited, to users and other clients relating to process optimisation. You will work with system designers and developers on a functional design for adaptive changes, so that clients are able to make optimum use of the applications and information managed by you.

The faculty of Applied Sciences has a vacancy for a Faculty Secretary for 38 hours a week (salary scale 13). You will form the bridge between the world of education and research on the one hand and administration and policy on the other. You will function as the link in numerous faculty processes and act as counsellor and adviser to the dean of the faculty. You will contribute to the establishment of an integrated strategic policy for the faculty, with an emphasis on research, and will be responsible for designing, managing and coordinating complex administrative and policy-forming processes. You will make a substantive and process-oriented contribution to meetings within the faculty, university and with collaborative partners in Leiden and Rotterdam, and will take part in committees and working groups. You will manage the Faculty Office, the Contract Management Bureau and the Faculty Information Manager, and will provide support to the faculty Graduate Office and the Technology Transfer Officer. In addition to this, you are the functional manager of the secretaries of the academic departments.

The department of Geo-Information and Land Management of the OTB Research Institute for the Built Environment is looking for three researchers for 19 hours a week (salary scale 11) in the field of ‘Tenure Law of the Netherlands/Belgium and France’. The primary task will be to research the tenure law of the country concerned, based on, among other things, literature and case law research, with the objective of producing a report in English on the national system of Tenure Law.

Staff members who have officially been declared redundant will be given preference in the filling of internal vacancies.
