我们中国人想说明东西很近，常说:“ 瞧，不就在你眼皮子底下吗？” 而美国人说什么呢？还是先看看下面的对话吧。

  A: What\'re you doing, Steve?

  B: I\'ve been looking for my grammar book here and there.

  A: It\'s on the table, just right under your nose.

大家看到对话中的那个词组了吗？对了，under one\'s nose，意思就是“ 一样东西离你很近，就是没有注意到”。

下面我们看看，还有什么情况我们可以应用这个词组。

1 ）你竟敢在老师的眼皮子底下看小说？
How can you dare to read a novel under the teacher\'s nose?
