Restriction of efficiency is one of the main reason is that the material band gap is too wide, is mainly A and B this two kinds of substances, band gap width to go against the solar spectrum absorption.

感觉已经翻译的不错了，但感觉Technical writing中最好活用非限制定语从句，试着借用楼上的译法，再调整一下
One of the main factors limiting the efficiency is the wide band gap of the polymer, especially A or B, and the red and near-IR parts of the solar spectrum are to be prevented from efficient harnessing.

notes: large换成wide, and 换成or, 后面为了避免重复，用了被动。
