love english or hate english？

I feel extremely depressed. The first two days for my working, two days meeting, two suffering days indeed, all English, at the beginning I could understand most of the content, but gradually their words were totally beyond my mind. They laughed at the jokes they made but I felt like a fool being there. I am shy to speak, actually I cannot even speak out the most simple sentence. Suddenly I grow up a disgusting feeling to English. I hate English. How I miss the days when I was crazy about English, chatting with people via the internet, writing English diary everyday and even talking English in my dream! I would miss English when I didn`t say it for a long while. I always consider English as one of my old friends. However now I hate it, what a sad thing! I know it is irrational to give up the job right now. How hard and lucky I was to get the job! If you do nothing and drift along every day, don`t you live up to the expectations from your parents and friends? Yes, I should do something to rekindle my passion in English. But is it too late to learn it now? How can I rekindle it and rebuild my confidence in English? I downloaded some oral English materials to practice. But when I talk with my colleagues; I find it is still difficult to open my mouth. The less I talk the less my confidence is. What should I do? |

Your English is really good from your description. And in another way, your English really good enough to get your current job. I know you are very excellent not only no your specialty but also on your English. All of your colleagues are speaking English, if you are working in our country. Your job is really very good. This is really a good opportunity to improve yourself. But now this is only the start so you will be better and better in the future, persevere in it, you will be get great success in the futrue. Think about your Chinese,when you talk with your parents,you classmates,no difficulty will you find in your conversation.In other words,it seems ridiculous for a native speaker afraid to speaker their native language for fear of mistakes.All in all,we learn English,and we use it,we find deprivation in English ,we continue to learn English.When you figure out you cannot understand them throughly,it just means you are not competent enough.Briefly,you are supposed to do extra work in your English.Accept the fact that U need improvement in stead of feeling frustrating! |
